Back-to-Wall Healthcare Toilet – Accessible, Robust & Easy-Clean
This back-to-wall (BTW) healthcare toilet has been designed for care homes, healthcare environments, NHS installations and DFG-funded adaptations, where hygiene, durability and user safety are paramount.
The BTW design allows all pipework and connections to be fully concealed, creating a clean, uncluttered appearance while reducing dust traps and simplifying cleaning routines. This makes it particularly well suited to clinical and assisted-living environments, as well as high-quality domestic adaptations.
With a 435 mm pan height, this model provides enhanced comfort compared to standard domestic WCs, supporting safer sitting and standing for users with reduced mobility. The generous 800 mm projection offers improved stability and positioning, making it suitable for larger users, bariatric applications, and situations where side transfer is required.
The pan is supplied with a ring seat (no lid) featuring lateral side-transfer buffers, providing additional stability during transfer and helping to reduce movement when weight is applied from the side. This is a key requirement in many OT-led specifications.
Designed for use with a concealed cistern and flush plate (not included), the toilet can be paired with a raised or oversized flush control to suit users with limited dexterity, ensuring flexibility across a wide range of care and accessibility needs.
While primarily intended for commercial and healthcare settings, this BTW WC is equally suitable for domestic Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) installations, where a robust, hygienic and future-proof solution is required.
Manufactured to meet relevant British Standards, the toilet combines clinical practicality with a modern, discreet design and is available from stock for prompt delivery.
