The Dignity Seat & Ring range has been ergonomically designed with the users safety & comfort in mind. This strong and sturdy seat is ideal for high traffic areas within domestic, commercial and professional welfare environments. It has built in strength and toughness to take the stress and punishment of everyday life. Built to exceed BS1254 and DIN19516 standards these seats will give many years of continuous satisfactory use.
Dignity was designed from ‘scratch’ and always destined for the care sector (unlike some other seats on the market that are simply adaptions of a standard seat) and will take the harsh and challenging realities of healthcare life in their stride giving the user the reassuringly feeling of comfort, safety and longevity.
To help and assist stability during wheelchair transfer two front locating lateral support buffers are provided as standard. These are discreetly hidden from view and are located on the inside of the seat and fit flush to the inside of the WC rim giving much needed support and stability when transferring. High quality stainless steel seat fixings are included giving additional strength and rigidity to the installation. Both Seat and Ring have an element of anit-vandal / theft and are available in white and 5011 blue colour.
The Seat has soft-close mechanism and the Ring is Doc M compliant.
With pleasing design aesthetics Dignity is compatible with most Mobility Essentials WC’s and many other round fronted WC’s, including close coupled, low level, back to wall and wall hung pans. The side lateral transfer buffers can be discreetly hidden from view by simply locating on the inside of bowl, rather than on the outside.
