Sometimes improving safety and confidence in a bathroom or WC doesn’t require a full refurbishment. A well-positioned set of quality grab rails and a support arm can make a meaningful difference to comfort, stability, and user independence.
These grab rail packs are most commonly supplied as part of our wider Doc M and Bathroom Care Packs, but are also available as standalone products. This makes them ideal for upgrading existing bathrooms, adding extra support where needs have changed, or replacing worn or outdated rails in care homes, commercial washrooms, healthcare environments, and domestic adaptations.
Conveniently supplied as a complete pack in a single carton, the rails are straightforward to install and can be positioned to suit the specific needs of the user and the room layout. Where installed as a standalone product, there are no fixed layout constraints, allowing the installer or OT to position support exactly where it provides the greatest benefit. They are equally well suited to retrofit applications within existing Doc M or similar accessible WC installations.
These grab rail packs are suitable for bathroom and WC environments only and are not intended for use within showering areas. (Dedicated shower rail packs are available separately and will continue to be expanded within the range.)
Manufactured from robust mild steel, each grab rail and support arm is powder coated to standard RAL finishes, providing a durable, easy-clean surface suitable for both domestic and commercial use. Stock colours are White and RAL 5011 Blue, with each rail fitted with black plastic end caps to prevent moisture ingress and improve long-term reliability.
Two pack configurations are available to suit the most common WC layouts:
For low level WC installations, a padded back rest is included as standard, offering additional comfort and lumbar support for the user. The padded back rest can also be supplied separately if required.
While White and RAL 5011 Blue are our standard stock colours, we can supply most RAL colours to special order. This is particularly useful for colour-coded environments, dementia-friendly schemes, or design-led commercial projects. Special colours typically have a lead time of 3–4 weeks, and a small manufacturing surcharge may apply.
